📣 Announcements:

• Dues are due by the end of March. The amount is $84 and covers the 6-month period until September 30th, 2026. The earlier you pay, the more tickets you will receive to win a raffle for a $25 check or gift card of your choice!

  • Methods of payment:

    • Zelle (preferred, no fee)

    • PayPal (3% fee)

    • Check delivered to our Treasurer Mat G. in person, or mailed to Pacific Beach Toastmasters, PO Box 90026, San Diego, Calif. 92169

      
      

• Please support your club and speed up your own public speaking growth by signing up for a lot of speeches and roles for the next couple of months. This is a special request because yours truly (Elaine P.) will be taking a Tuesday evening class, so all the speech slots and roles I would have signed up for will be waiting for you!

  
  

• The club is here to support your confidence in giving speeches and taking roles in the following ways:

  • Detailed information about each role can be found on our website, pbtoastmasters.com. Click on the Resources tab.

  • Toastmasters.org has articles on many aspects of communication in different settings, including club roles. To search, go to the Magazine tab, then Explore, and then fill in your desired search term.

  • If you don’t have a mentor yet, contact our VP Education, Nakisa N. to connect you with one.

  • I (Elaine P.) am happy to work with newer members (membership less than one year) one-on-one via Zoom at a time that works for you. We could discuss roles in more detail, brainstorm ideas for speeches, and/or practice your speech. Contact me via my personal email.
